Vineal & Vinyl

VV-musicnwine

There’s nothing quite like music and wine.  There’s a synonymous fluidity within them that has the ability to educe an array of emotions while celebrating the unique craftsmanship of an artist.  One of the vines, while the other a melodic language.  Chris Pierce is one example of an exceptionally talented musician that also has a hand in the vines (aka the perfect gentlemen).

His music career began as a child in Los Angeles surrounded by his parents vinyl collection, which built a love and determination to learn, create and sing.  At the age of eighteen he was awarded the prestigious Ella Fitzgerald scholarship for jazz studies at USC.  His raw, honest and intimate style has been seen alongside musicians such as Jon Butcher, Sonia Dada, Seal, Jamie Cullum, Al Green, Colbie Caillat, Toots and the Maytals, Jack Johnson, Robert Cray, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Black Crowes, and BB King.

Check out his latest work, “Invisible People” here and sip on a glass of his Sonoma County, Dry Creek Valley Syrah!  Ledbetter Wines was fueled in the appreciation of music and wine in the art of living.  When asked about the connection between the two arts Pierce replied, “Ledbetter Syrah, like a good song leaves room for interpretation and discovery.  Music has a way of helping the listener enjoy the moment and creates memories of a place, time or feeling.  We hope that our wine can be a part of the same kind of special moments and memories.”
